With new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal eager for the club to sign a list of players he has told them to go out and get the Dutchman will be disappointed to learn that Marco Reus won’t be leaving the Bundesliga this summer after Dortmund announced he is not for sale.

Reus unfortunately has to sit out this summer’s World Cup after being injured in a friendly with Armenia at the Coface Arena just four days ago.

Despite having a buyout clause of t £28million the young German will remain with Jurgen Klopp’s Dortmund for at least one more season but with his contract up in 2017 we could expect to see a move next summer.

Dortmund’s sport director Michael Zorc confirmed the news, telling Bild: “I can definitely rule out a transfer this summer.”
