German international Ilkay Gundogan is stalling on signing a new contract with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund as he waits on hearing what Manchester United has to offer.
According to German newspaper BILD the 24-year-old has refused to sign a new deal with the Westphalia club and is waiting for either Manchester United or Arsenal to make an approach for him.
Both Premier League sides are said to be willing to pay £25 million for Gundogan’s services and while Dortmund would like him to sign a new long-term deal, they know that with under 18-months remaining on his current deal that it could be their last chance to cash in on him if he refuse to commit his future to the club.
