Manchester United has been scouting Argentinian international midfielder Lucas Biglia with an eye to a summer move to Old Trafford.
The vastly experienced 29-year-old currently plays in Serie A for Lazio, and while United were interested in signing him in January the Italians refused to let him leave.
Prior to joining Lazio in 2013 he won four Belgium league titles along with for Super Cups for Anderlecht.
He should be available this summer for around £8 million which is a small price to pay for a player of his quality, plus being an Italian citizen he does not need a work permit for the U.K.
