In an amazing report out of Paris today respected French sports paper L’Equipe is claiming that Manchester United will buy Falcao and then trade him to PSG for Edinson Cavani.
Cavani is not happy at the Parc des Princes playing second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimović and has failed to produce the form he showed while playing in Serie A for Napoli.
Likewise Falcao has also not lived up to United manager Louis van Gaal’s expectations since joining United on loan from Monaco.
United have to option of buying Falcao built into their loan deal, with L’Equipe claiming they will buy the Colombian and then make a straight swap with PSG for their Uruguayan striker Cavani.
Stranger things have happened in the world of football, but should this deal come off it could be a big win win for both teams.
