Liverpool’s Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva is in negotiations with Inter Milan over a possible loan move in January after finding himself being more marginalized than he expected by Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.

Napoli were interested in the 27-year-old defensive midfielder during the summer , but nothing developed with Rafa Benitez’s team, yet now according to Tuttosport the Brazilians representatives opened talks with Inter Milan over a possible January move.

Inters new manager Roberto Mancini is eager to add to his squad this January and has identified Lucas as one of his potential targets.
