According to reports coming out of Italy Liverpool target Fredy Guarin is wanted by Valencia CF, with Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport saying that the Spanish club wants to sign him and are holding talks today in the hope of getting a deal done before the transfer window closes tonight.
The Colombian international who plays for Inter Milan is not a part of Coach Walter Mazzarri’s plans and has been told he is free to approach other teams.
While Valencia appears to be leading the race for his signature Zenit St Petersburg and Galatasaray have also been showing an interest in the 28-year-old midfielder which now puts Liverpool almost out of the picture.
