Despite being only 18-years-old Ipswich midfielder Teddy Bishop has caught the attention of some of the Premierships biggest clubs after having broken into Mick McCarthy’s side, where he has already made 18-appearences so far this season for the promotion hopefuls.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is so impressed by the youngster he is determined to win the race and sign the £10 million rated teenager.

The Reds have already approached Ipswich this month and were told that Bishop is not for sale however the club is likely to soften their stance in the summer allowing Rodgers to get his man.

The Tractor Boys also have another young star in Tyrone Mings that Arsenal is keeping an eye on but it is the Anfield team who will go all out to make Bishop a Redman.
