There is no question that Liverpool wants to sign Aston Villa’s Belgium international striker Christian Benteke, yet despite just raking in £49 million from the sale of Raheem Sterling to Manchester City, find Aston Villa’s asking price of £32.5 million too high.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has made the 24-year-old his top striker target, and will at some point offer the Midlands club what he thinks is a fair valuation for the big Belgium hoping that Benteke can push for a move at his end forcing Villa to sell for a lower price.
