Liverpool, Chelsea, AC Milan

The Daily Star is today reporting that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is preparing a sensational move to re-sign former Red striker Fernando Torres after learning that AC Milan is ready to cancel their loan deal with Chelsea following the Spaniards ability to only score one goal in 10 Serie A matches.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said yesterday on hearing the AC Milan rumour that Torres would not be brought back to Stamford Bridge as there was no room in the squad following the signing of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Didier Drogba.

Despite the fact Liverpool have struggled since the departure of Luis Suarez and the injury to Daniel Sturridge we here at Soccer Transfers do not see Torres returning to Liverpool given his huge weekly salary and would be more inclined to stick our neck out and say if any new striker was to come to Anfield it would be Belgium international Divock Origiwho is currently on loan with French Ligue 1 club Lille.
