Liverpool are considering making a move for unhappy Man City striker Edin Dzeko who could be made available in the Summer.

Liverpool Want £27m Man City Striker to Partner Luis Suarez Up Front

Reports in the German media are claiming that Man City no longer consider Dzeko a first choice player and that the player himself has become very disillusioned with life at Eastlands, thus the recent interest in the Bosnian International.

Liverpool could well do with attacking alternatives and Edin Dzeko could well do with regular first team football so could the Bosnian be the ideal man to partner Luis Suarez?
Man City paid £27m for the 26 year old forward but Roberto Mancini consistently fails to name the former Wolfsburg man as a first team starter, despite the fact that he has netted 13 goals in 26 Premier League matches this term, 11 of which came from the bench.
Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli still appear to be preferred options for the Italian and now that Carlos Tevez has been welcomed back it seems likely that Dzeko could be left out in the cold and this has led to much speculation that the big forward could be sold this summer.
Kenny Dalglish has doggedly attempted to form a working partnership between Uruguayan international Suarez and £35m man Andy Carroll but as a duo they have failed to gel, however it does seem that pairing a big target man with the former Ajax man would appear to be the ideal fit for the physical demands of the English top tier, so this source’s assertion that the Anfield side want Dzeko could well mean that Liverpool are ready to try something new for next term.
What do Liverpool fans make of such a potential pairing?
