As Liverpool prepares to take on Sam Allardyce’s Sunderland at the Stadium of light tonight, Reds boss Jürgen Klopp will be hoping to start the match the way they did against Leicester City, and just like against the Foxes keep the pressure on Sunderland for the entire game.

Klopp will feel that his team is well prepared for Sunderland after suffering from the direct approach the team was subjected to when they played Crystal Palace and Watford.

He also knows that it will be a physical battle against the Black Cats whose backs are up against the wall after having only managed to amass 12 points halfway through the season sitting second from bottom.

Unlike most other teams Liverpool had a four day break following their win over Leicester and apart from the known injury to Martin Skrtel and the hamstring strain to Origi, the team remains the same but for a couple of minor adjustment to give a couple of players some extra rest ahead of the lunchtime clash with West Ham on Saturday.

Dropped for Sunderland will be Emre Can and Adam Lallana after all the hard work they have put in recently allowing for Lucas and Jordan Ibe to be given a run out.
