German daily newspaper Bild had a line in a story this morning that suggests Liverpool and Arsenal are talking to Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender with an eye to a summer transfer.

The main topic of the article was about all the expected changes at the North Rhine Westphalia club now that Thomas Tuchel has replaced Jurgen Klopp as the manager.

Manchester United target Mats Hummels along with teammate Neven Subotic confirmed they will be staying at the Signal Iduna Park, while defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and German international midfielder Sven Bender are both looking towards the exit door.

26-year-old Bender only earns £41,000 per-week and believes he could earn much more if he changes clubs this summer, with Bild reporting that he has made contact with Liverpool, Arsenal and Southampton about a move to the Premiership.

Should he get the chance it could prove to be a gamble for the club involved as he had a poor 2014/2015 season being used mostly as a substitute while not looking as good as he had done in previous years.
