This could be bad news for Manchester United fans after French Daily newspaper La Parisian reports that French Champions Paris Saint-Germain will not be selling Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani this summer despite all the reports claiming he will be available for anywhere between £40 and £60 million.

Monday’s edition of Le Parisien has revealed that club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the rest of the board have no plans to sell the 28-year-old this summer to United or any other club quoting Al-Khelaifi as saying: Edinson Cavani is a player I really like. I can tell you that he is very much with us, and the question of his departure does not arise. Paris loves him and he loves Paris.

The Uruguayan scored twice over the weekend in the French League Cup final beating Bastia 4-0 as they prepare to take on Barcelona in the Champions League quarterfinals Wednesday night at the Parc des Princes.
