Former Arsenal front man Kevin Campbell hopes that the club will continue with their new found discipline following the 0-2 away win at Manchester City.
Known for their attacking style of play under Arsene Wenger, the Gunners took everyone one by surprise when they came out playing a more reserved game in an attempt to confuse their opponents.
A well-earned victory was the end result that Campbell wants to see continue over the rest of the season.
“It was a great result,” he told Hawksbee and Jacobs. “A lot of people didn’t see that coming. It was great Arsenal could win against the Premier League champions.
“But there was a part of the game, at the start of the second half, where Arsenal went back to being old Arsenal and the game was a bit too open.
“Whether they have got the discipline to do it over and over again I don’t know but it was a welcome sight to see them so disciplined.”
