Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado has agreed personal terms with Chelsea ahead of his expected move to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window.

The Colombian World Cup star is Chelsea’s top target this month with negotiations underway with Italian Serie A side Fiorentina continuing.

So far the clubs have failed to reach an agreement with Chelsea not willing to pay La Viola’s asking price of £26.8 million.

A compromise however may have been found after Chelsea agreed to make former FC Basel winger Mohamed Salah part of a cash and player deal for Cuadrado.
