Jermain Defoe admits he’s considering his future at Tottenham.

Exclusive - Defoe hints at possible Tottenham exit

The Spurs striker has been in and out of Harry Redknapp’s side all season and had been touted as a possible departure in the January transfer window, following the signing of Louis Saha.

And with Redknapp keen to make Emmanuel Adebayor’s loan move from Manchester City permanent, Defoe could find himself pushed even further down the pecking order, and that has left him unsure about where his future lies.

“It’s a difficult one,” Defoe admitted when asked about his commitment to Spurs. “I’ve never said I want to leave the club, I’ve just said I want to play.

“As a forward you just want to get some sort of rhythm and a run in the team. That wasn’t the case towards the end of the season.

“I’m just going to see what happens. I’m going to concentrate on England and Euro 2012. The most important thing for me is scoring goals and that’s when I’m at my happiest.”
