Every Arsenal fan will want to by a Benzema Jersey

According to all the latest reports Arsenal is going all out to bring Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema to the Emirates.

Whether or not the Gunners will be successful will depend on if Real Madrid is willing to sell, but if the last two seasons are anything to go by it is looking good for Arsenal.

The Spanish giants seem to have a habit of selling one big player each summer, with Angel Di Maria joining Manchester United last year, and the year before that it was the Gunners who landed Mesut Ozil.

Arsenal has already made an offer of £31.3 million for the French international and is now waiting on a reply from the Spanish capital as to whether or not it will be accepted.

Our guess here at Soccer Transfers is that Madrid will counter with a £40 million offer and that an agreement will be reached somewhere between the two amounts.

According to the Daily Star Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is prepared to do whatever it takes to get the 27-year-old to north London and knows that in shirt sales alone and the marketing opportunities it will present, it is a deal worth throwing the kitchen sink at.
