Chelsea is now despite what manager Jose Mourinho has said looking to make a spectacular move by signing Manchester United and Arsenal target Marco Reus.
This all ties into the sale of Andre Schurrle who has failed to find a place in Mourinho’s first team despite having a spectacular summer with Germany winning the World Cup.
The 24-year-old has always stated his desire to fight for a place in the team saying to the Sunday Express: “In a phase with less playing time, transfer rumours are always coming up.
“Of course I want to be on the pitch as much as possible and score goals for my club.
“In a team like Chelsea with many top players you have to prove yourself again and again. Such an illness throws you back a few weeks.”
The general consensus was that the Borussia Dortmund midfielder was on his way to Real Madrid, but now with Chelsea prepared to activate his £20 million release clause anything could happen.
