Sky Sports is reporting that Chelsea has signed Ecuador starlet Josi Quintero for an undisclosed fee.
Quintero who is referred to as the new Antonio Valencia in his homeland Ecuador confirmed the news himself over the weekend posting photos of him signing his Chelsea contract on Twitter while stating “Happy to sign my first professional contract with this great club.”
The 17-year-old youth international was currently on the books of Barcelona where he impressed the staff at the highly rated Masia complex, but has now opted to move to London and one day play in the Chelsea first team.
