Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has no doubt that struggling Colombian Winger Juan Cuadrado will come good as a Chelsea player.

The 26-year-old just joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in January and suffered a barrage of abuse from Chelsea fans following a short appearance in a recent draw with Southampton.

Meanwhile the man he was brought in to replace Mohamed Salah is having a banner season in Italy.

The Portuguese manager however gives his full backing to Cuadrado saying: ‘I just know that it’s different to play in Italy than to plan in England, different to play for Fiorentina than for Chelsea.

‘A player needs time and I am ready to give him time. The club is ready to give him time.

“It looks like he’s ready to have this time.

“Next season, I believe he can have a fantastic season.”
