The Agent of Napoli attacking midfielder Lorenzo Insigne has told Italian radio station Radio Crc that the 24-year-old Italian international wants to remain at Napoli “for life.”
The Napoli forward was being linked with a move to the Emirates during the summer, and with talk now of Arsenal trying again in January his agent Antonio Ottaiano is saying that he wants to commit himself to the Stadio San Paolo in the hope that he can squeeze some extra money out of the Premier League side.
“His contract expires in 2019 and Lorenzo Insigne has repeatedly said that he wants to stay at Napoli for life.”
“If all the prerequisites are in place for it to happen, the engagement will become a marriage. The club believes in Lorenzo, they consider him crucial to the future of Napoli.
“The big clubs saw Lorenzo as an exciting prospect at first, now they’re probably casting admiring glances at him.
“They’ll have to give up though, Lorenzo is a Napoli player until 2019, and not only is he happy, he wants to win in a blue shirt.”
