Arsenal looks set to miss out on Rennes youngster Yann M’Vila with reports that Inter Milan have offered £25 Million for the defensive midfielder.

Arsenal set to be priced out of the race to sign £25 Million youngster

Rennes have accepted that they cannot keep a hold of the 21 year old and have been expecting offers to start coming in as the season comes to an end and according to InsideFutbol, the first club to break cover with an offer is Inter Milan.

A bid of £25 Million would surely price Arsenal out of the race to sign M’Vila, a fee of that size would represent a club record and the one thing Arsenal are well known for is not spending huge amounts of money, especially on talented youngsters that have yet to prove themselves on a long term consistent basis.

M’Vila has previously been quoted stating that Arsenal is a great club along with Inter and Real Madrid, but it was his comments about a French manager that raised eyebrows,

“Inter, Arsenal, Real Madrid, it would be great at all of those sides, these are great clubs. If a coach calls you and tells you he wants you, and if he’s a French coach, that changes everything”

It now seems that it is not a French coach that changes everything, but £25 Million.
