Arsenal MUST SIGN one of these Three Strikers to win the Premiership next season

Arsenal manager has said that he is in the market for a top striker, and all the Gunners fans know that a quality goal scorer is all that is needed to bring the club those extra ten goals per-season that make all the difference in being the Premier League Champions or not.

Below is our top choice in order of what we consider to be manager Arsene Wenger’s preferred signing.

Karim Benzema

The 27-year-old French international is Gunners boss Arsene Wenger’s first choice target, and while it may seem like a long-shot we here at Soccer Transfers feel as though there is a deal to be done with Real Madrid, as in the past they have always sold one top player per-summer, and with new trainer Rafa Benitez looking to use Cristiano Ronaldo as a more central striker, letting go of Benzema to Arsenal for big money would make a lot of sense , no matter what the Frenchman’s agent Karim Djaziri told Sky Sports saying that his client is “1,000 per cent” staying at Real Madrid.

We seem to remember a similar situation with Mesut Ozil a couple of summers ago until the German international made a dramatic move to the Emirates on deadline day.

Benzema certainly has the quality that Wenger is looking for having scored over 20 goals in each of the past five seasons, and at 27-years-old is just now coming into his prime.

Edinson Cavani

If the main criteria is goals, then Arsene Wenger should look no further than Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, as the Uruguayan hit-man has the highest scoring record of the three players we are outlining here, having notched up 112 goals over the past five seasons for Napoli and PSG.

Wenger is known to be a huge admirer of the 28-year-old saying back in 2013 that he “loves him”, yet despite being linked over the past couple of seasons with a move to the Premiership, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has said “Paris loves him and he loves Paris” so there you have it, everybody loves Cavani!

Cavani however just like his PSG teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a mercenary and is willing to play for the highest bidder, unfortunately for Arsenal and his other suitor Manchester United, the Qatari backed French champions couldn’t care less about money, so it would be all down to Cavani to push for a transfer if he wanted to play in the Premiership.

Gonzalo Higuain

Last but not least is Gonzalo Higuain another player with links to Real Madrid, who also boasts an impressive European record for a South American striker. The 27-year-old Argentinian international was strongly linked with a move to the Emirates from Real Madrid back in 2013 before being signed by Napoli to replace the PSG bound Cavani.

Since arriving at the Serie A side Higuain has notched up an impressive 53 goals in 102 appearances over the last two seasons.

Of the three mentioned striker’s, Higuain is the one player who is definitely for sale the trouble however is that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has stuck an unrealistic £72 million valuation on his head and said: “If a player has a contract this contract has to be respected,” he said. “If a madman arrives and offers to pay his buy-out clause then one must consider it. Otherwise he will remain here.”
