Regardless of Arsenal manager brushing off talk of the Gunners not being interested in signing Paulo Dybala, Palermo club president Maurizio Zamparini is claiming that Arsenal has already made a bid for the player he calls the next Messi.

The 21-year-old Argentinian has attracted the attention of many of Europe’s top clubs including Juventus, Roma, Arsenal and Chelsea after having scored 13 goals in Serie A for the Sicilian outfit this season.

And now realizing Palermo is about to lose their young star Zamparini is drumming up business in order to get the most money he can telling Canal Plus: “Dybala is not Sergio Aguero but the new (Lionel) Messi. He’s not an out-and-out striker, but operates in every area of the field, like Messi.

“Will he stay? No, because the player and his agent aspire to a big club, and they’re right to do so. I’ve already received at least four offers.

“Two were from Italian clubs, and two were from abroad, and they include Arsenal and Juventus.”

In what could be bad news for Arsenal Dybala is reported to have recently said “I’m really attached to Italy who allowed me becoming famous and I’d like to remain here.

Time will tell though as Arsenal prepares to flex their new financial muscle in this summer’s market.
