Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has taken a leaf out of rival Jose Mourinho’s book by trying to use mind games ahead of tonight’s do-or-die match against Greek champions Olympiacos in Athens writes John Cross in today’s Daily Mirror.

Arsenal travels to the Greek capital knowing that they must win by two clear goals in order to make it into the last 16 of this seasons Champions League competition with Wenger claiming that it is the home side that are facing the “fear factor” as the Gunners enter the match with nothing to lose.

He said: “We play against a side who will be motivated, but we face that every week [in the Premier League]. At the moment they are qualified, but let us not forget they can lose what they have and that can create a fear factor.

“Of course, we have a history where we have positive results. We have won everywhere in Europe, we know we can do it, so the best way is to go through with a top quality performance and that is what we must focus on.

“It is very important (for us to go through). There is nothing more to say because we want to do well in Europe.”
