Arsenal has apparently made Zenit Saint Petersburg a £13 million bid for classy Argentinian defender Ezequiel Garay, according to reports.
The 28-year-old former Benfica star has not settled well in Russia and is looking for a way out of the frozen north and has several Premiership sides considering making a bid that include Manchester United and Chelsea.
Garay is believed to be up for a move to the Emirates, but with other teams also interested Zenit will try and hold out for a better offer after having paid Benfica roughly that amount for him last summer.
Should Arsenal manage to land him though along with Petr Cech and Arturo Vidal all they will need now is a top striker to become a team that will have a very good chance of winning the Premiership next season.
