Premiership sides Arsenal and Liverpool have been told they can forget about trying to sign Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette.

The 23-year-old has been in blistering form for the Ligue 1 side this season scoring 21 goals in 21 appearances.

This red-hot form has not gone amiss of other clubs either with Manchester City also sending scouts to watch the front-man in action.

Lyon club president Jean-Michel Aulas has rubbished any talk that Lacazette might be leaving by saying that he is more valuable than Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale.

“His market value is priceless,” Aulas told Le Parisien.

“What is the name of the Welshman at Real Madrid? I think Alexandre is much better than him. There is no point in discussing any transfer fees.”
