Both Liverpool and Arsenal have now switched their attention to out of favour Real Madrid playmaker Isco after having decided they have lost the race to sign Barcelona’s Pedro to Juventus.

Isco moved to Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013 for £24 million yet has failed to become a starter in trainer Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

Real saw both Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso leave during the summer, but brought in replacements in the form of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos who both quickly established themselves as starters in the Italians team forcing Isco to remain on the side-lines.

Reports coming out of Spain today carried by the Daily Express, suggest that the 22-year-old midfielder Isco is now plotting a January exit, and has both Liverpool and Arsenal bosses Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger on alert.

While manager at Malaga, Manuel Pellegrini and Isco had a good working relationship, which also means the now Manchester City boss may be tempted to try and sign the boy from, Benalmádena but he knows in order to do so he would have to sacrifice a player in his already star studded team.

Time will tell where Isco will decide to go but with his talent it is certain he is not happy being a bench warmer with Madrid.
