Another youngster hits the canvass at Arsenal

Another youngster’s dream of making the grade at Arsenal had been abruptly truncated as he has been left off the hook as the club has announced Young forward Anthony Jeffrey has left the Club by mutual consent.

It seems the young forward will be teaming up with Dutch outfit RKC Waalwijk after
training with them recently.

Arsenal revealed news of it on their website saying, “Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank
Anthony for his contribution to the Club, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

It is sad to see another youngster bite the dust at the Emirates but that is reality check
since not all the youngsters that get enlisted at the academy can really make it into Arsenal’s first team.
The Gunners however really need to step up the type of youngster they accept for the academy.

In the past, Arsenal’s academy has produced players such as Fabregas, Szczesny and Wilshere, but only Gnabry seems to have made the grade in
recent times.
The academy must do better in its recruitment of the world’s most promising talent
