Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is eager to get all his summer transfer business done early so that he can concentrate on winning next seasons Premier League title, and with that in mind the club has already offered Borussia Dortmund £21.5 Million for Matts Hummels.
The figure is less than has been talked about with Dortmund expecting United to pay whatever the Rhine Westphalia club asks for one of their top players, so German newspaper Bild is suggesting that this is an opening bid to get the ball rolling on what could be a £30 million plus deal.
