According to the Daily Mail Bayern Munich is preparing to launch a £25 million bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz, who until now was assumed to be on his way to Barcelona following the World Cup.
The Catalan giants are the Brazilians first choice, but with no deal yet in place as technical staff at the Nou Camp argues over whether the 27-year-old would be the right choice as a central defender, Bayern Munich’s Pep Guardiola has no worries and wants to see Luiz at the Allianz Arena.
All the interested parties however may have to wait until the World Cup is over before any deals can be done as Brazil national team Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari does not want his squad distracted as the home nation prepare their team to win the tournament.
