Chelsea is now the latest team to become interested in the man everyone is calling the next Steven Gerrard with both Liverpool and Arsenal having been monitoring Dele Alli since last summer according to the Daily Express.

The 18-year-old England U-18 international has been a key player for League One side MK Dons this season scoring seven goals with four assists in all competitions with Dons manager Karl Robinson calling Alli the hottest prospect he has ever worked with.

At the moment at least, Liverpool appears to be winning the chase for the attacking midfielder after Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers who has a good relationship with Robinson personally scouted the youngster back in January during a 3-3 tie with Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup after which Robinson said: “I know Brendan quite well and we speak about different players all the time.”
