Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling has his sights set on joining Arsenal this summer after turning down the opportunity to earn £100,000 per-week should he decide to sign a new contact at Anfield.

At the moment it has to be said that it looks far from happening and that the 20-year-old England international is set to leave the club this summer.

Liverpool has already turned down an offer from Manchester City telling the Etihad bosses that it will take £50 million to sign Sterling who still has two- years remaining on his current contract with the Merseyside club.

Meanwhile back in May, in what could be a tell-tale sign the former QPR academy player put his Southport house up for sale and was reportedly seen house hunting in London.

We hate to speculate and guess, but if we were the betting kind, it what not surprise us to find out that Liverpool has already agreed a deal with Arsenal that will see a cash and player deal done that may involve Kieran Gibbs moving to Liverpool with the Gunners paying around £30 million in cash.

Sterling is keen to get a deal done as soon as possible so that he can get involved with pre-season training at his new club while also preparing for Euro 2016.
