£43.3m Striker is pushing hard for a move to the Emirates! This is BIG for Arsenal

With all the talk of Arsenal making a £43.3 million bid for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain hitting the headlines, the Italian press is saying that the 27-year-old Argentinian international is pushing for the move to go through.

While it is not sure if the Serie A side will accept the Gunners offer, Corriere Dello Sport say Higuain wants to join Arsenal and is pushing for the transfer to happen so that he can play Champions League football next season.

Arsenal came very close to signing Higuain from Real Madrid in 2013 before losing out to Napoli, but with Arsene Wenger still being a huge fan of the striker he knows that if he can bring a player with the goal scoring talent that Higuain possesses to the Emirates it would go a long way in showing that Arsenal is a serious contender for next seasons Premiership title.
