It would appear listening to all reports that Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic is close to signing for Manchester United.
The 29-year-old Croatian international has been linked with a host of clubs including Tottenham and Liverpool, but it appears that the Red Devils are now firmly in the driver’s seat when it comes to signing the former Bayern Munich star.
Speaking about the £36 million rated striker moving to Old Trafford former Croatian international midfielder Milan Rapaic told Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport: ‘It appears to me that he’s very close to Manchester United.’
