Manchester City has been sitting on the side-lines watching the behaviour of Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling and the way he is going about trying to move away from Anfield, oblivious to the fact that it maybe them one day having to put up with this kind of behaviour if the England youngster does not get what he wants.

The Daily Mirror is reporting this morning that City is to make a third and final genuine offer of £40 million plus £5 million in add-ons to secure the signing of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool.

Liverpool has already rejected two offers from Manchester City including one that was supposed to be the same as this now third and final one for the 20-year-old forward, hoping that Liverpool will want to end the drama Sterling is creating and get on with their plans for the up-coming season.

It will be interesting to see if Liverpool for the sake of £5 million short of their asking fee will accept the offer from the Etihad and get on with things or stick to their guns and teach the youngster a lesson by showing him that players do not dictate terms when it comes to club business.
