Turkish league leaders Besiktas will make a move for Chelsea star in January

According to reports from Spanish football news outlet Turkish league leaders Besiktas will attempt to sign Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel in January as they strengthen the team in order to ensure a return to the Champions League next season.

Nigerian international Obi Mikel has been at the club for near on the past ten-years, but with his playing time now limited it would appear as if he was ready for a move with both manger Jose Mourinho and club owner Roman Abramovich unlikely to block any move providing that the Turkish club bids an amount that they consider to be reasonable.
