Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United

French international winger Antoine Griezmann has rejected a new contract with Spanish club Real Sociedad and has now put Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal on red alert.

According to reports in Spain carried by talkSPORT the 23-year-old has rejected a new contract with Real Sociedad telling them that he would prefer to move to a bigger club.

The young Frenchman still has two years remaining on his current contract, but there is also a buyout clause of £25million associated with it.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is known to be a huge admirer of Griezmann and could very well be tempted to put an offer in despite the arrival of Alexis Sanchez.

Incoming Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal had been considering Real Madrid’s Angel Di Maria, but could very well turn his head given the price difference in the pair.

Liverpool meanwhile seem as though they are intent on signing Benfica’s Lazar Markovic which would then alleviate any need for Griezmann.

Paris Saint-Germain however could be a late comer to the party, and with deep pockets would be able to sign the French winger should they decide to.
