Everyone knows that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has a love affair when it comes to wingers with the Daily Mirror saying that the Red Devils will make a move for Dutch international winger Arjen Robben when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Robben who turns 32 at the start of the new year is said to be very unhappy at his current club Bayern Munich since falling behind Kingsley Coman and Douglas Costa in trainer Pep Guardiola’s pecking order.

There is also talk that he has fallen out with the clubs star striker Robert Lewandowski, leading Manchester United to believe that they can pick up the wideman for less than £20 million.

As for Robben he believes he can continue playing at the highest level for another three years and with LVG already knowing him from his time with the Netherlands team he could prove to be a decent buy for United despite his age.
