Manchester United to sign £50 German Star after Real Madrid BACK-OFF

It would appear as if Manchester United is now favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Marco Reus after Real Madrid has decided to pursue other interests.

The 25-year-old German international is one of Europe’s most exciting players , and Dutch manager Louis van Gaal wants to bring him to Old Trafford where he will be an integral part of the team LVG is putting together not only to win the Premier League title but also a shot at the Champions League crown as well.

Spanish sports newspaper AS has revealed that Real Madrid shelved any plans they had of going after the BVB star once they signed Colombian international James Rodriguez from Monaco last summer for a fee believed to be around 80€ million.

Arsenal too were interested in Reus but the temptation has cooled putting United in the driving seat to bring Reus to Old Trafford this summer despite him still being under contract to the Bundesliga side till 2019.
