Chelsea outcast Kevin De Bruyne has taken the Bundesliga by storm this season either scoring or assisting 34 goals in 35 games for Wolfsburg that now has Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho ready to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.

The 23-year-olds form has not gone unnoticed by other clubs either with Manchester United said to be in the race for the £40 million rated attacking midfielder with reports saying that the Red Devils are in pole position to sign the Belgium international ahead of his former club as manager Louis van Gaal prepares for a huge clear-out and spending spree this summer.

De Bruyne’s play this season has been so good that we would not be surprised to see another club or two join the race for what will be one of the summer’s hottest properties.
