Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer.
Di Maria made a bright start for the Red Devils following his British record £59.7million million transfer from Real Madrid, but fell apart in the second-part of the season following an attempted break-in to his house.
The talk following the attempted robbery was that his wife wanted to leave England as she no longer felt safe in Greater Manchester, even after moving to a luxury city centre hotel.
Now according to beIN Sports the 27-year-old Argentinian international has decided to right off his time at Manchester as a move that was no meant to be, and hope that the club he wanted to join in the first place Paris Saint-Germain will be willing to give United their money back for the winger.
United of course are not obliged to sell, but given the circumstances should manager Louis van Gaal be able to get most of his money back or perhaps be able to a deal that would see Edinson Cavani move the other way all parties would be satisfied with the outcome.
