Manchester United is pulling out all the stops for BRAZILIAN DEFENDER

It would appear as if Manchester United is now in pole position to sign Brazilian international defender Dani Alves at the end of the season after Barcelona has so far refused to enter negotiations over a new contract for the 31-year-old.

The former Seville right-back has also been linked with a move to either Italy or France, but with Manchester United said to be willing to pay him £150,000 per-week to play at Old Trafford they have leapfrogged over the other interested teams.
