Galatasaray have made an offer for Nani, with the understanding that Manchester Utd would like to receive £8.5million for the winger.

New United boss David Moyes has set his mind on selling Nani this summer, with Portuguese international never living up to his his potential at Old Trafford.

Nani has one year left on his contract and Galatasaray are among other clubs who have interest sign Nani, but insist they cannot meet United’s valuation.

Unal Aysal, the Turkish club’s chairman said: “We offered €7million (£6m) for him. But they didn’t accept. We can’t give more than this.

“We are not going to follow Nani anymore. We can’t give more than €7m for him.

“They want €10million (£8.5million). Because of this he is not on our transfer list anymore.”
