Manchester City, Arsenal

It would appear as though Manchester City is about to raid Arsenal once more in the hope of enticing yet another of the clubs stars by offering to pay him more than the Gunners would ever dream of doing, and this time it is midfielder Jack Wilshere they are after.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini complained last week that English player’s were expensive compared to foreigners but with rules stipulating that clubs must have a certain amount of home-grown players on their books the City boss according to the Sunday Times is preparing to go after England international Wilshere.

Meanwhile Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has plenty of midfield options available and should City make a big offer he might just let Wilshere leave.
