Liverpool to sign Dortmund striker in the summer

Reports coming out of Anfield suggest that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is looking to change the Reds attack, and will try and offload Fabio Borini, Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli as he looks to bring in attackers who will fit in with his fast passing style of play.

One name being mentioned is Dortmund forward Ciro Immobile who has found the going tough in the Bundesliga since arriving from Torino last year, yet has still managed to score seven goals in 21 appearances for the struggling German side.

Reports in Germany suggest that Jürgen Kloop’s team will try to offload him in the summer hoping that they can get back the £15 million they paid for the 24-year-old.

Immobile was on Brendan Rodgers shopping list last summer when he was looking for a replacement for Luis Suarez, and now according to Bild he will try again once the transfer window opens.
