Liverpool to get the CHEQUE BOOK out again for £18m Spaniard

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers appears to be getting all his transfer work done early, and despite having secured Roberto Firmino, and now possible Nathaniel Clyne, the Northern Irishman has asked the Anfield bosses to give him £21.3 million so that he can peruse Barcelona winger Pedro.

The 27-year-old Spanish international has fallen down the pecking order at the Nou Camp since the arrival of Luis Suarez completing just eight of his La Liga appearances for the Catalan giants last season, and is now said to be looking for regular playing time with another club.

Manchester City is also interested in Pedro, but more so in Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling with everyone assuming it’s a done deal that the 20-year-old will leave Anfield this summer, while Rodgers quickly spends the £50 million the Merseyside club expects to receive from his sale.
