According to reports in Spain Liverpool is involved in advanced talks with Benfica over Argentinian winger Eduardo Salvio.
The Reds have been scouting the former Atletico Madrid player for months and have now decided to get down to business before the transfer window opens this summer.
And the news looks to be promising with rumours saying it appears as if a deal can be done for less than the Portuguese clubs asking price of £43.6 million, with Portuguese newspaper O Jogo reporting that the Reds may be able to sign him for as little as £25 million which is still a high price for Liverpool to pay for a player that has not been tested in the Premiership.
So far this season the 24-year-old has scored nine goals in 28 appearances for f the Primeira Liga champions and is just the type of player to make an impact on Brendan Rodgers young team.
Have a look at the video below and see if you think he will be a good addition to the Reds attack.
