Despite an uplifting 4-1 win over inform Newcastle last weekend the medical room at London Colney is still full of Arsenal players with Colin Lewin and his team busy looking after Jack Wilshere, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Özil, Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, David Ospina, Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Nacho Monreal, yet there is a chance that some of these players will be fit to face Liverpool on Sunday leaving manager Arsene Wenger with some tough choices to make.
A fitness test will be on the cards for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on Saturday and Wenger may risk playing him rather than player an inexperienced midfielder with 23-year-old Francis Coquelin on standby should the Ox fail the test.
In defence now that goal keeper Wojciech Szczesny is back and Calum Chambers has served his suspension it will be Hector Bellerin out while Mathieu Debuchy reverts to right-back.
In the midfield assuming that Oxlade-Chamberlain is fit to play expect to see Mathieu Flamini and on form scorer Santi Cazorla who has three goals in his last two appearances for the club.
Upfront expect to see Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez along with Danny Welbeck who will hope to have an impact after having only scored once in his last ten games.
