Cristiano Ronaldo buys £13.5m Gulfstream Jet

Things are going so well not just football wise but with all his other projects that Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo has forked out 19 million euros for a new Gulfstream G200 business jet to help make his life easier when not training with the Spanish giants.

The now 30-year-old former Manchester United star is doing very well with his off-pitch ventures that include a movie about his life, and a new line of his own football boots that will be branded under the name CR7 Footwear.

Portuguese tabloid newspaper Correio da Manha believe that Ronaldo has bought the luxury twin-engine aircraft to help make his life easier while being on the road, and that he is having the plane kitted out with all the latest gadgets.

Here is how Gulfstream advertises the jet which has a range of 3835, more than enough to handle the current Ballon d’Or winner’s busy schedule.

As the first super-midsize jet of its kind, you’ll get fast, nonstop travel in a spacious and comfortable cabin.

The Gulfstream G200 offers the range and comfort of a large cabin jet – for a midsize cabin price. It also has a cruise speed of 540 mph, making it ideal for nonstop transcontinental travel. One of the first things you’ll notice about the Gulfstream G200 is how spacious it is. It can seat nine passengers comfortably and has 6’3” of stand-up headroom, which exceeds all other aircraft in its category. And it has the largest baggage capacity in its class.
